An Unforgettable Day with My Cousin: Laughter, Shopping, and Family Fun

Amidst the daily routine and workdays, a special day filled with incredible moments alongside my cousin emerged. We shared laughter, explored shops, enjoyed delicious food, and had a blast at a theme park. Join me in this account of our family day, brimming with memorable memories.

After a week of staying at Breider's house, I received a call from my cousin, Pipe. We briefly chatted, and he asked if I was free to hang out. I mentioned that I was about to finish my shift and could meet up later. So, I accepted his invitation, and we met at a shopping mall called Plaza del Sol.

Once at the mall, we decided to satisfy our hunger at one of Pipe's favorite places, KFC. While enjoying our meal, we strolled through the mall, engaging in conversations about various topics. It was a relaxed and enjoyable time to share our experiences and thoughts.

During our walk, Pipe took me to a clothing store located in a secluded area of the parking lot. It piqued my curiosity since I hadn't had the chance to visit it during my time in Barranquilla. Upon entering, Pipe picked out some shorts and sweaters, seeking my opinion on his choices. I was impressed by the variety and quality of the clothes. Eventually, he made his purchase, and we were reminded that the store didn't provide bags or packaging, so Pipe had brought a bag to carry his items.

We remembered that there was a large park called Parque Muvdi just in front of the mall, which was an ideal place to continue our adventure. Inside the park, we discovered a go-kart track that immediately caught our attention. While entry to the park was free, we had to pay an affordable price of 12,000 pesos for 7 minutes of kart racing. We hopped on the karts, and although I had a minor collision, it was nothing serious thanks to the colored tires protecting the track. Having the track to ourselves at that moment added more excitement and enjoyment to our experience.

1. After using up our time on the karts and sharing plenty of laughter over my mishap, we said our goodbyes and sought transportation to return home. I expressed my gratitude to my cousin for the invitation and how much fun I had throughout the day. We also made plans to repeat this experience in the future since it was an unforgettable day filled with laughter and shared moments with family.

This special day with my cousin served as a reminder of the importance of shared moments with family.
