After watching a video by a content creator named Luisito el Viajero on Instagram, I shared the idea with a group of friends. The plan was to ride electric scooters and take a tour of the entire Malecón de Barranquilla. My friends agreed, and we decided to go after finishing our work shifts. I took the responsibility of gathering all the necessary information, such as the cost, where to rent the scooters, how long we could use them, and where to pick them up.

My friends Breider, Laura, Sebas, and I arranged to go together in a car. My cousin, Pipe, was also joining us, but he decided to meet us at the Malecón. Pipe arrived before us and helped me with the scooter rental. He went to a place called Hotel Portal del Río to secure our rental reservation. After a few minutes, the four of us arrived at the location, where my cousin and the rental agent were waiting. They took us to a nearby spot at the Malecón and provided us with all the necessary information for using the scooters. We had a test run before venturing out on our own, and we already had a feeling that we were going to have an incredible time.

In total, we rented five scooters, each costing 20,000 pesos for 30 minutes per person. It was a good amount of time for a nice tour since the Malecón offers ample space and beautiful places to explore. Ready with our scooters, we set off to ride along the Malecón. Unfortunately, my scooter didn't have a horn to alert people who were blocking the bike lane, and that day there were a lot of people. My friends helped by using their bells, but it wasn't enough, so I had to shout "Excuse me!" to people during the ride. Despite this, we enjoyed the journey and the almost entire route of the Malecón.

Toward the end of the ride, we wanted to rent the scooters for an additional 30 minutes because the experience was super cool and fun. However, we couldn't do it because other people were already waiting for their turn. Nevertheless, it was an incredible day, and we thoroughly enjoyed the ride through almost the entire Malecón.
